Terms and Conditions

Participation in the Challenge implies the confidentiality commitment of all parties involved in it. All information provided to the organising companies (BEAZ, S.A.U and the Challenge reference company) through this registration form is defined as confidential information, in addition to all the information that is transmitted to the organisers during the Challenge regardless of the means, form or support used, committing not to make any disclosure to third parties or public communication without the prior written authorisation of the party to whom the confidential information belongs. For the purposes of proceeding with the analysis and evaluation of the Challenges, the companies and/or entrepreneurs authorise the organising companies to manage the documentation and information provided within the framework of their participation in this call. The companies organising the Challenge have signed an agreement to keep the information they receive in the process strictly confidential.

Participants who, originally or unexpectedly, do not meet any of these requirements, may be excluded from the Challenge, losing any option to receive any service and without the right to claim anything from the organisers of this call:

  • The same promoter will only be able to participate with one project, either individually or jointly with third parties.
  • The members of the project team taking part in the development of the solution must be of legal age and have legal capacity.
  • The data provided by participants when registering for the Challenge must be true and complete.

The organisers of the present call have the right not to accept or to dismiss from the challenge, without prior notice, all participants that to their understanding, act fraudulently, unfairly, against the spirit of the programme or the law, third parties and/or good faith, notwithstanding the responsibilities derived from these behaviour which will be totally assumed by the participants, leaving the organisers unharmed, in any case. Anyway, they will have the right to dismiss any participant whose behaviour (or that of a related person) may be contrary to the reputation or good name of the organisers. Additionally, they reserve the right not to accept any participant in the understanding that they do not provide an adequate answer to the challenges, or due to the number of projects accepted, or for any other reason. The present challenge may be modified, interrupted, stopped and/or cancelled if justified circumstances so require. Likewise, the organisers reserve the right to declare void all or any of the benefits, if none of the projects deserves to be finalist or winner at the discretion of the organisers.

At all times, both the project and the possible patents that could be derived from it will be the property of the person or company that has submitted the application. Participation in the Challenge does not imply the transfer of participation by the candidate person or company to the reference company. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the execution by the winning project of the Challenge of a real pilot of the solution with the reference company will imply the signing of a contract that binds both parties, in which among other things, the terms of use derived of the possible industrial/intellectual properties arising from the execution of the pilot itself will be agreed.

It is reported that throughout the Challenge it is possible that images and recordings are taken for promotional purposes through the communication platforms of the organisers. In addition, the participating persons accept expressly that the organisers may use both their name, individually as well as that of the company, and their associated images and/or logos, by any means and exclusively for corporate, advertising, promotional purposes and/or to make the winning project known to the rest of the participants and the general public. In any case, the participating persons have the possibility of exercising their rights by submitting a document through the channels indicated in the Legal Notice and Privacy Policy of BEAZ and the rest of the companies organising the Challenge.
